Nail Gun
Well you can use a hammer, but if you have a lot to do, it could be worth investing in a Nail gun.
For professional fencing you will need a Framing nailer, this is a heavy duty nailer that can fire in headed nails. For professional fencers it is economical to invest in a nailer.
This professional nailer from Paslode 360Xi is the benchmark for a robust and reliable nailer. This nailer can drive in fully headed 3.1mm 50-90mm nails.
It is expensive but if you are a professional fencer and want ultimately want to save time per job then this is one is worth considering.
Fence Sprayer
Most feather edge fence boards, posts and gravel boards are pressure treated, but every few years it is a good idea to treat the wood. I recommend Rye Oil for decking, which i talk about below.
You can spray Rye Oil and this sprayer is perfect for applying it.

Post Hole Augers
When it comes to digging holes for fence posts, any help is welcome, especially when you could be putting 20 plus posts around your plot.
Digging a 1ft square hole is not really necessary even for 4″x5″ posts, not only will this be extremely hard work, but you will then have to fill this in afterwards with Postcrete or whatever you decide to use.
With an auger, you can dig a small neat hole without disturbing the compressed dirt around it and therefore save a lot of digging and a lot of Postcrete. You may need to open the hole up slightly, but this can be done easily with a narrow post hole shovel afterwards.
Here is a highly rated Petrol post hole Auger that I have located on Amazon.
Petrol option for high powered assistance, better if you have more than a few fence post holes do dig and where the ground is a little rougher.
